Talking about the design, Acer Predator X34 is one of the best curved monitors for gaming with an impressive curved display. The Predator logo, just below the display, and triangular pattern adds much to its beauty. Above all this is a beautiful, slim gaming monitor with jet-black color.
Another distinguishing feature in Predator X34 design is the presence of LED lights at bottom that help to illuminate the environment and other gaming gadgets. Multiple color are options available such as green, red, white, blue and orange. Another nice addition about the colors variation is that you can set the pattern of their movement such as pulsate, ripple or static effect. This just fills the gap of RGB effect if you lack in gaming mouse such as Corsair M55 RGB Pro or keyboard such as SteelSeries Apex Pro.
In design, you have the availability of options to tilt the Predator X34 as much as 35 degrees backward and 5 degrees forward. The headphones in sides, rather than at bottom, could offer much more comfort to gamers while gaming, but this is an issue that can be compromised for this device.

Interface
Just under the right corner of Predator X34 the hidden navigation menus can be found. There are six small buttons that sometime cause difficulty in pressing the exact button. No doubt the Acer Company, perhaps totally aware of this issue, has compromised over this issue just to improve its sleek design and style, you will easily get used to these tiny and closely packed menu buttons. It will, however, take some time to figure out and to press the exact buttons.
Despite its hidden small buttons, I really liked its intuitive menus. The main menu helps to easily adjust the brightness, color, contrast and external light too. By pressing the menu buttons the presence of large tabs on screen for activating overclocking and switching profiles and inputs are really helpful.

The concept of curved gaming monitors is changing the gaming experience of most of the gaming addicts. This is because it has completely filled the gaps for immersive gaming. As the Acer Predator X34 is a curved gaming monitor, it gave me the similar feelings. I was totally immersed in playing Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate and Overkill.
The wide view of game offers an ultimate gaming experience with its outstanding 3440 x 1440 resolution. I was feeling like I myself am the main character of the game who is moving through the streets, jumping the roofs and fighting in the battles. Interestingly, the wide view of angle also offered me an extra view of game to see the opponents. Whether it was Overkill, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege or Star Wars: The Old Republic every game gave me the highest performance in spotting my opponents, and making the right decision at the right time.
One good thing about Acer Predator X34 is that it comes with Nvidia’s G-Sync technology. Every sane gamer knows that this technology has helped a lot in removing the issues of screen tears. In this technology the Monitor is directly linked and synchronized to the graphics card. If you are first gamer to use a gaming monitor with G-Sync feature, you will definitely see a huge difference. In my case of gaming I clearly noticed the removal of horizontal lines by activating the G-Sync feature.
Multimedia
No doubt the gamer needs to play movies and stream online videos other than playing games to relax for some time. And this wouldn’t be possible unless you have a monitor with best resolution. The Acer Predator X34 also fills this gap and offers an impressive multimedia display. You yourself can imagine watching a 4K trailer on ultrawide curved monitor, just like I felt while watching Avengers: Endgame. Playing Netflix videos at the aspect ratio of 16:9, and 21:9 with default colors and ultrawide settings gave me extraordinary results which I wasn’t expecting.

In our brightness tests it outperformed and won the race by registering nearly 255 nits which is much higher than 225 nits that an ordinary gaming monitor offers. The built-in 7-watt speakers produce maximum and loud sound with perfect combination of treble, echo and volume. Using these settings in combination can help you create an ideal gaming monitor display that is made for you as per your requirements, and save a lot of time in creating custom profiles of these features separately.
In standard settings the refresh rate is set at 60Hz which can be maximized as much as 100Hz. This will allow you to eliminate the motion blur issues and will provide more smoothness to the pictures.
